The problem

You've got the game. Just not always when it counts.

In training everything works. In competition, pressure speeds up your thoughts, tightens the movement and turns one mistake into a run of them.

  1. Before

You think about everything that could go wrong.

  2. During

One mistake is enough to pull you out of the game.

  3. After

You replay the match for hours.

The problem isn't a lack of mental strength. The problem is never having trained it.

The vision

Mental is a skill.

And like every skill, it can be trained.

We want to make mental training as natural and accessible as physical training. Not only for champions. For every athlete who trains, who competes and who wants to show up better.

Our boundaries

Mentalizi trains you. It replaces no one.

Three levels, and you move up when the one below stops being enough. We only occupy the first, and we tell you when it’s time to move up.

  1. Level 1

    Mentalizi

A few minutes a day, no appointment, and without having to admit anything’s wrong first. It’s the level that didn’t exist.

    This is where we are
  2. Level 2

    The mental performance trainer

A person, a follow-up, an outside eye no software replaces. We’re there the six days out of seven when they aren’t.

  3. Level 3

    The healthcare professional

What goes beyond training is theirs, and theirs alone. Our job here is simple: notice it, stop, and point you the right way, fast.

In France, 3114 (suicide prevention) is free and answered around the clock.

Our approach in detail

The method

Proven methods. Not motivational lines.

Mentalizi builds on techniques used in mental preparation. Every protocol is designed to be short, repeatable and measurable.

Routines

Preparing a stable response before entering competition.

Mental imagery

Mentally rehearsing a situation or a movement before executing it.

Self-talk

Building simple instructions that bring attention back to the action.

The numbers, and their limits

The product

Open it. Talk. Train.

A session takes three minutes. Nothing to type, nothing to configure, nothing to re-read.

01 / 05

Choose your goal

Prepare for a competition, work on a specific movement, or reset after a mistake.

02 / 05

Talk, it listens

The coach is an artificial intelligence. It opens the conversation, you answer out loud, and it adapts the session to what you say.

03 / 05

Let it guide you

It walks you through it out loud, step by step, and stops at the right moment. Nothing to read, nothing to set up.

04 / 05

What you take away

When the session lends itself to it, it closes on one short cue, a phrase or a gesture, that you find again out there.

05 / 05

Make it automatic

Sessions and cues are saved automatically so you can repeat what works.

Pre-launch screens. Content shown is illustrative; features and design may change before public release.

Use cases

Train the moments that swing a match.

Before the competition

Build a stable routine so you stop improvising your mental state on the day.

After a mistake

Cut the rumination, get your attention back and return to the next action.

For a specific movement

Visualize your serve, your shot, your start or your next move before executing it.

Through periods of doubt

Find your bearings again without depending only on your last result.

Sport and esport

The arena changes. The mechanism doesn’t.

We built it for both from day one: the mental pressure looks the same from one arena to the next, and so do the tools for holding it.

  • Before a penalty
  • After a double fault
  • Before a free throw
  • After conceding a goal
  • Before the starting gun

Ten situations, one mechanism: the pressure climbs, your attention narrows, the movement tightens. That mechanism is what you train, not ten recipes to memorize.

The trainer space

Your trainer doesn’t read your sessions. They know when you want to talk.

This space doesn’t replace your trainer or your mental performance trainer. It backs them up: you keep practising between sessions, and you both know what to talk about when you meet.

You decide

Your trainer sees your first name, your sport and your level: what you wrote yourself. Nothing else travels.

Your sessions stay yours

What you tell your coach isn’t shared, isn’t summarized, isn’t scored. That’s not a setting: it can’t be done.

You can raise your hand

One button, three topics. Your trainer sees that you want to talk and what about, never what you have to say. The rest, you say yourself.

What happens next, and what we do with your data.

  1. 01

    You send your email

One line, that’s it. No phone number, no club, no card details.

  2. 02

We open access in small batches

Small enough to read every reply and fix things before the next batch. That’s what’s moving the app forward right now, and it’s why we don’t announce a date: we open the next one once we’ve read the last.

  3. 03

    You get your install link

From contact@mentalizi.com, with the steps for your phone, iPhone or Android. You install it, and Mentalizi is there.
