Our approach

Mentalizi trains you. It replaces no one. This page says precisely where we stop, what we do with what you tell us, and why this tool was missing.

The three levels

Mental preparation happens on three levels. We occupy one, and we say so.

  1. Level 1: that's us

    Daily training

A few minutes, every day, with no appointment and without having to admit anything is wrong. This is the level that didn't exist: between “I'm fine” and “I need to see someone”, there was nothing.

    This is where we are
  2. Level 2

    The human mental coach

A person, a follow-up, an outside eye no software replaces. We don't take their place: we're there the six days out of seven they aren't. If you already work with someone, Mentalizi slots in between sessions.

  3. Level 3

    The healthcare professional

Anything beyond training is theirs, and theirs alone. Our job at that point is simple: recognize it, stop cleanly, and redirect fast.

Our boundary statement

Mentalizi trains you. It replaces no one. If one day it goes beyond training, it tells you, and it tells you who to turn to.

In France, 3114 (suicide prevention) and 3018 (online violence) are free and reachable 24/7. If you are going through a difficult period, speak to a healthcare professional.

What we will never write

We rule out an entire register of vocabulary to describe what Mentalizi does. A few examples of the rule in practice:

The first example is deliberately bracketed: negating a word still puts it on the page, and it belongs here no more than anywhere else. Same reasoning that got the boundary line on the home page rewritten.

Clinical words are only allowed to describe an attributed, sourced state of the world, never to describe what Mentalizi does. A footer disclaimer never redeems a promise.

Your data

Why this tool was missing

The French State tracks 5,350 elite athletes by name and owes each of them a mandatory psychological check-up. In some training centers, under 10% actually get one. For millions of amateur license-holders, the question isn't even asked: no institution measures it.

95% / 37%French Olympic athletes

95% consider mental work important or essential. 37% actually do it.

29%French medalists in Tokyo

29% had never done any mental preparation. Not “a little”. Never.

1 in 3Of those struggling, spoke to a professional

Nearly one in five reports distress. Among those the study identifies as struggling, only one in three spoke to a healthcare professional within the year.

Finally, the profession of mental coach is neither regulated nor countable. The French Senate wrote as much in November 2025 and asked for it to be addressed.
